2005年12月25日晚,公安部赴湖南督察组及长沙市消防支队,对存在重大火灾安全隐患的金色大帝KTV(其号称湖南最大的娱乐夜总会)采取了强有力措施,责令其停业整改。这家夜总会被查封,基于三个消防隐患:一是扶梯之间没有铁质卷闸门阻断火势蔓延;二是排烟装置不符合标准; 三是装修材料全是易燃性材料。在很多公众聚集场所,消防不达标是最大的安全隐患。长沙金色大帝刚开业就被查封,避免了可能发生的安全事
On the evening of December 25, 2005, the Ministry of Public Security went to Hunan Inspector Group and Changsha City Fire Brigade to take strong measures against the Golden Emperor KTV (Hunan’s largest entertainment nightclub), which has a major fire safety risk, and ordered it to suspend business for rectification.
