铜陵金威1 050 mm热轧机为进口的一台二辊可逆铜带轧机,轧辊采用两台主电动机传动的双电动机工作方式。作者论述了将该双电动机工作方式改为可单双电动机工作的方案,方案可使一台电动机故障时,由另一台电动机临时传动,保证生产不受影响;同时给出了采用直流驱动的控制方式实现。单电动机运行方式在该轧机故障临时应急运行中顺利通过了对650 mm宽窄铜锭的轧制,工作过程正常、运行稳定。
