Everything about Duravit began in Hornberg in Germany in 1817 when Georg Friedrich Horn founded a pottery production plant that was initially devoted to making pottery. In 1956, the product ranged from pottery to porcelain and expanded the scope of the product to hygiene porcelain. This sets a good platform for future success and also creates a new name for cleaning products: Duravit. Today, Duravit AG operates at an internationally advanced level and has 10 manufacturing locations worldwide with more than 5,000 employees - testimony to the amazing evolution of Duravit. At the same time, it will, as always, be rooted in “traditional evolution”.
