我国基础教育课程改革于1999年正式启动。2001年秋季,《全日制义务教育数学课程标准》(实验稿)及其实验教材在38个国家课程改革实验区开始试验。《全日制义务教育数学课程标准》(实验稿)无论从目标、要求还是结构、体例上都是全新的,特别是其中蕴含的素质教育理念,体现着鲜明的时代气息,对于非实验区的教学工作也有很强的指导意义。但是我们在编稿过程中了解到,实验区以外的老师特别是那些偏远地区的老师,由于条件所限,对新的数学课程标准还不太清楚,有的甚至没有听说过。因此,本期特刊出下面这篇文章,希望能帮助老师们对《全日制义务教育数学课程标准》(实验稿)有一个初步的了解。
