香港和新加坡就像一对姐妹花,有很多相似的地方：面积小；都曾是英殖民地；人口以百万计,华人居多；都有古今并存,中西合璧的特点；两地都是船运枢纽,以制造业起家。香港和新加坡当年同列亚洲四小龙,这除了经济奇迹,从风水上说也是有讲究的,香港有不可多得的“九龙下海”的格局,而新加坡则号称是“五龙汇星洲”。近些年因为制造业转移,两地不约而同地着重发展第三产业,举凡金融服务、旅游会展、教育医疗等方面都有暗中较劲、互别苗头的态势。新加坡的国花胡姬花,终年盛开,代表谦和、刻苦的精神；香港的区花洋紫荆,花色紫红,形如蝴蝶,代表自强不息的香港精神。这两种花都是艳丽出奇,无怪乎要争奇斗艳呢。如果有机会一次游览过这两个地方,做一番横向比较,你会发现不少有趣的相同和不同之处。
Hong Kong and Singapore are like sisters and sisters. If you have the opportunity to visit the two places once, do a bit of horizontal comparison, you will find a lot of interesting similarities and differences.
