Diabetes mellitus is a disease that affects metabolic disorders in many organs. It is related to the abnormal activity of enzymes on the cell membrane, especially Na~+, K~+-ATPase (ie sodium pump). The authors measured the activity of lymphatic membrane sodium pump and serum total cholesterol in normal mice and diabetic mice, and explored the relationship between lymphocyte membrane sodium pump activity and body energy metabolism and changes in cell membrane composition and their properties. Materials and Methods BALB/C mice were randomly divided into normal mice and diabetic mice. Mice were induced into diabetes mellitus by injecting a solution of alloxan in the tail vein of mice (10 mg/ml freshly prepared with physiological saline at a dose of 80 mg/kg mm), and the blood glucose level was measured 5 days later (diabetes was greater than 16.67 mmol/L). The mice were etched off the spine. The same strain of mice was used to mix 4 spleens.
