亚洲青少年音乐比赛截至到今年已经举行了三届,前两届还有小提琴和管乐专业,决赛地是香港。第三届比赛只保留了钢琴项目,并增加了上海音乐学院作为联合举办。该赛事自2005年暑期开始启动,历时八个月。六千多名青少年选手参加了包括上海、北京、香港、广东、江苏、四川等26个重要城市的31个赛区初复赛,172名优胜者成功出线,获得到上海参加总决赛的资格。比赛共分为四个大组(青年、少年、儿童、中国作品组),四个专题组(莫扎特:奏鸣曲第一乐章;肖邦:夜曲;门德尔松:无词歌;巴托克:为了孩子)。来自全国省及主要音乐学校的24位钢琴专家应邀出任评审,最高级别的获奖者的奖金为人民币三万元(现金)。
The Asian Youth Music Competition has been held for three sessions this year. There are violin and wind music majors in the first two sessions and the final is Hong Kong. The third competition only retained the piano project, and added the Shanghai Conservatory of Music as a joint. The tournament started in summer 2005 and lasted eight months. More than 6,000 teenagers participated in the preliminary rehearsal of 31 districts in 26 major cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Sichuan. The 172 winners qualify for the finals in Shanghai. The competition is divided into four groups (Youth, Children, Children, Chinese Works Group), four special groups (Mozart: Sonata No.1 Movement; Chopin: Nocturne; Mendelssohn: No song; Bartok: For children ). Twenty-four piano experts from all over the country and major music schools were invited to serve as judges. The prize money of the highest-ranking winners was RMB 30,000 (in cash).
