法藏敦煌文书P.2942抄存有四十余则判文及数则状牒,内容涉及八世纪六十年代中后期河西与伊西北庭地区政治、军事、经济史中的若干重大问题。由于传世史书中保存的这一时期的相关史料极其匮乏,而本卷内容丰富具体,且是当时人书当时事的最原始史料,不仅对河西西域史硏究意义重大,对安史之乱后的唐史硏究也有重要参证作用,故历来备受学界关注。然而,本卷也是目前学界争论最多最大的敦煌文书之一,关于文书作者是谁、卷中所记被害于长泉的副帅究竟是杨志烈还是杨休明,及与上述两个问题
There are more than forty sentences and a number of articles printed in Dunhuang document P.2942, covering a number of major issues in the political, military and economic history of the Hexi and Yixing Beiting areas in the mid-to-late 1960s.
