甘兰夜蛾Barathra brassicae L·又名甘兰夜盗虫,是全国甜菜产区的主要害虫之一。近几年来,在山东省普遍连续猖獗发生,采种株叶片常被吃光造成种子减产10％以上。春、夏播甜菜生育期间反复受害,大部分叶片吃光,仅留叶柄叶脉,使块根糖度降低1—3度,产量损失10—15％。故从1979年到1982年对该虫进行了室内与田间扣笼饲养结合田间调查,观察其生物学特性,并进行了防治试验示范。
Banyan budworm Barathra brassicae L · also known as Cymbidium nightworm, is one of the major pests in the beet producing areas. In recent years, the occurrence of rampant in Shandong Province in general, crop seeds often eaten seeds caused more than 10% reduction in seeds. Spring and summer planting sugar beet repeatedly victimized during reproduction, most of the leaves eaten, leaving only petiole veins, so that the sugar content of root tuber 1-3 degrees lower, the yield loss of 10-15%. Therefore, from 1979 to 1982, the insects were caged with indoor and field cage combined with field surveys to observe the biological characteristics, and conducted a pilot demonstration.
