The authors used high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and thin-layer chromatography optical density (TLC-DM) to quantitatively determine the main components of “Huanglian Jiedu Decoction” extract to evaluate the quality of the Chinese formulation. Preparation of the liquid: Accurately weigh 0.5 g of dry powder for the test drug, place the stopper in a test tube and shake with 10N hydrochloric acid in methanol for 10 min, centrifuge, and determine the supernatant for measurement.. 2.
