语音教学是英语教学的根基,语音教学的好坏直接影响英语教学的成败。就我国整体的英语教学而言,语音教学尤为薄弱。基于应试教育这一大环境,中学教师大多都重视语法教学多于语音教学,学生每天的任务无非就是机械似的记忆单词;记忆语法;做大量的练习题。对于单词的拼读、音标,如何精确单词的发音却很少过问。学生仅靠死记硬背来维持只会记了就忘,这样恶性循环下去,只会导致学生两极分化严重。所以学生极早学会音标及拼读,就不必担心单词发音的掌握了,也可以自主复习、巩固和预习。所以教师一定要在学生入门阶段就花费很大精力去教授音标。
Phonetic teaching is the foundation of English teaching. The quality of phonetic teaching directly affects the success or failure of English teaching. As far as the overall English teaching in our country is concerned, pronunciation teaching is particularly weak. Based on the environment of exam-oriented education, most teachers in middle school emphasize more on grammar teaching than on pronunciation teaching. Students’ everyday tasks are nothing more than mechanical memory words, memory grammar, and a lot of exercises. For word spelling, phonetic, how to pronounce the exact word is rarely asked. Students rely on memorization to maintain only remember to forget, such a vicious cycle will only lead to serious polarization of students. Therefore, students learn phonetic transcription and spelling very early on, so they do not have to worry about the mastery of the pronunciation of words. They can also review, consolidate and preview their own ideas. Therefore, teachers must spend a great deal of energy to teach phonics at the beginning of the student’s course.
