Polycystic ovary syndrome (PODS) can arise from a variety of factors, such as unbalanced gonadotropin levels, abnormal adrenal function, and insulin confrontation. In order to study the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis function in PCOS, 60 PCOS patients at Yokohama University School of Medicine and 19 normal women with normal menstruation were enrolled in this study.
