历时两个多月的2002年WCBA联赛于4月27日鸣金收兵,八一队荣登冠军宝座,其他各队也找到了自已的位置,他们的排名依次是:沈部、广东、哈尔滨、辽宁、福建、上海、空军、山东、北京、江苏、重庆。重庆、江苏两队降至乙级。 尽管球迷们给予WCBA女篮的掌声还不像CBA男篮那样热烈,关注的目光还不够专一,但是,首届WCBA联赛的成功举办,却标志着我国女子篮球终于可喜地迈出了职业化的第一步。然而,细细品味,首届WCBA联赛仍有诸多值得探讨的地方。
