1952年在无锡成立的华东艺专是由上海美专、苏州美专和山东大学艺术系合并而成的。但长期以来对于山东大学艺术系,特别是山东大学艺术系的前身华东大学文艺系的史料我们知之甚少。今年夏天,本刊编辑部委派三名编辑专程前往山东大学档案馆查阅资料,获得数量可观的文献资料,为我们了解华东大学文艺系和山东大学艺术系的历史发展状况提供了有力的实证,在此我们将初步整理出来的文献给予发表,为进一步研究这段校史提供帮助。由于时间紧,工作量大,这里发表的文献资料我们还无法一一与其他配套资料,乃至与当事人进行核实,其中一定存在疏漏,敬请各位读者指正。
East China Art Institute was founded in Wuxi in 1952 by the Shanghai United States, Suzhou, United States and Shandong University Department of the Arts merged. But for a long time we know little about the historical materials of the Department of Arts of Shandong University, especially the predecessor of the Department of Arts of Shandong University. This summer, our editorial department commissioned three editors to make a special trip to the archives of Shandong University for access to information and access to a considerable number of documents and materials, which provided us with powerful evidences on the historical development of the Department of Arts and Design of East China University and Shandong University. We will publish the preliminary collation of the published articles, to further study the history of the school to help. Due to the tight schedule and the heavy workload, we are unable to verify the documents and other supporting documents we have published here. Some of them may be overlooked.
