地质部探矿工程处长座谈会于1959年8月20日到30日在北京举行。会议的中心任务是：鼓干劲，反右倾，全面完成和超额完成1959年探矿工程生产任务。何副部长、李副部长先后亲临会议，作了重要指示，特别是通过学习讨论八届八中全会的公报和关于开展增产节约运动的决议，给予与会同志极大的鼓午和力量，大家一致认为今年的探矿工程工作在去年大跃进的基础上仍然是个继续跃进的局面，
The symposium held by the Director of Exploration Engineering Department of Geology Department was held in Beijing from August 20 to 30, 1959. The central task of the conference is: The drum energetically, anti-rightist, fully completed and surpassed the production task of the exploration project in 1959. Deputy Minister Li and Vice Minister Li paid visits to the conference and made important instructions. In particular, they learned and discussed the communiqué of the 8th Plenary Session of the 8th CPC Central Committee and the resolution on launching a campaign to increase output and save energy. They gave great encouragement and strength to the participants and we all agreed It is believed that this year’s exploration work remains a leap forward on the basis of the Great Leap Forward last year.
