1997年新年伊始,当笔者走近位于上海市中心的人民广场时,直感受到这里的人们还正沉浸在元旦的节日气氛中。置身在这里,但见穿着新潮服装的青年男女们在款款漫步;有老人和小孩在兴高采烈地放风筝;广场南侧的绿色草坪上,已和人们相处得熟识起来的鸽群,正在欢快而悠然地啄食着游人手中的玉米粒,有几只猴急且胆儿大的鸽子,干脆飞落上了一些掌心中托着玉米粒的人们的手上……当它们心满意足地吃完以后,便快乐地发出一声声咕咕的叫唤,然后忽拉一下掠过人们头顶,成群飞向了蔚蓝的天空,以它们特有的方式,向人们表示着谢意和对新年到来的欢欣与鼓舞!
