In order to adapt to the needs of the existing old-house building renovation project, the book “Building Foundation for Housing Additions and Reconstruction” edited by the Associate Professor Tang Yiqing of Civil Engineering Department of Northern Jiaotong University will be published in album form by the end of August. The book investigates and analyzes domestic and foreign projects relating to the rebuilding of old buildings, summarizes the experience and existing problems, proposes various practical and effective methods for the evaluation of existing building foundations, and introduces the commonly used foundations at home and abroad.
