Of the 2,984 people surveyed, 159 were fatty liver with a prevalence of 5.33%. There were 2042 males and 108 fatty liver patients with a prevalence rate of 5.29%. There were 942 females and 51 fatty liver patients, with a prevalence of 5.41%. There was no significant difference in the prevalence rates between the sexes (u = 0.14 , P> 0.05).
