翁偶虹同志以86岁高龄默默地离开了我们,他在京剧舞台上辛勤耕耘了半个多世纪,创作改编了114个剧本,大都已经投排上演.其中有22个出版单行本;4个编入《中国京剧院演出剧本选集》.此外,辑集出版了《翁偶虹戏曲论文集》、《翁偶虹编剧生涯》和《北京话旧》等著述三种,的确堪称硕果累累的戏曲作家,在京剧艺术发展中作出了不可磨灭的贡献.
