为了自己的政治追求和理想,孔子在不得已的情况下选择离开鲁国,开始了周游列国的旅程,幻想能够在其他国家得到君王的赏识,恢复西周礼乐文明。然而,理想的实现需要做出正确的选择,需要在现实中努力。在外颠沛流离十四年后,孔子依然无所遇,他只得回到自己的出生地鲁国。在他生命的最后时刻终于幡然醒悟,虽然理想还未实现,但他也不再踏入仕途,而是毕生执着于教书育才和文献整理,真正寻求到了人生的价值和真谛。
For his own political pursuit and ideals, on the last resort, Confucius chose to leave the country and start a journey through the nations. His fantasy could be appreciated by monarchs in other countries and restore the rituals and civilizations of the Western Zhou Dynasty. However, the ideal realization needs to make the right choice, need to work hard in reality. After fourteen years of displacement, Confucius still had no chance of encountering him. He had to return to his native Lu State. At the last moment of his life, he finally realized his dream. Although his ideal has not yet been realized, he no longer entered the career. Instead, he devoted his life to teaching, educating and documenting, and really sought the value and true meaning of life.
