With the accession to the WTO and the opening up of the insurance market, new requirements have been put forward on insurance legislation. To meet this change, Taiwan has started to amend the Insurance Law before joining the WTO. The scale of the amendment is unprecedented and comprehensive. The amendments include the Insurance Contract Law and Insurance Law, most of which are covered by the Insurance Law.
