TAL-1 gene translocation is the most common genetic defect in acute T-lymphocytic leukemia. To determine the relationship between TAL-1 gene translocation and leukemia, changes in the peripheral blood and bone marrow TAL-1 gene were observed. RESULTS: Among the 172 children, 48 had TAL-1 gene translocation. In patients with TAL-1 gene defects, the positive rate of CD2 was significantly higher (97.9%), and the positive rate of CD10 was significantly decreased (12.5%), in addition to a significant increase in white blood cell count and hemoglobin. Observing the 5-year survival rate, the survival time of TAL-1 translocation patients is relatively long, but the impact on the prognosis of patients still needs further study.
