The value of man is his contribution, not his claim, which is a generalization of proletarian life values in many propaganda and theoretical articles in recent years. The author believes that although this summary highlights the position of labor and contribution in the value of human beings, it is too simplistic and one-sided. Objectively existing people’s value is not a single, but dual, that is, the individual’s contribution to society, responsibility and individual needs and demands from society, dialectical unity. Proletarian values of life emphasize the individual’s contribution to society and responsibility on the basis of recognizing people’s dual values. This article intends to make a survey of the duality of human values. On this basis, we will analyze the relationship between the values of proletarian life and the dual values of human beings and how to evaluate and realize the values of human beings in socialist society.
