前不久,有机会到一些中学看了看,随堂听了几节语文课,还和部分老师、学生进行了交谈。总的感觉是:现在初中语文教学的水平有了较大的提高,课堂教学有生气,学生学得灵活、主动;语文课外活动丰富多彩,演讲比赛、朗(背)诵比赛、小报比赛、文学社团活动、读书活动、社会调查等等,大大提高了学生学习语文的积极性,学生的语文素养也得到了提升。但发展也很不平衡,还有的课堂比较沉闷,不少学生还有厌学、懒学情绪,有的学校也难见语文课外活动的踪影。对比之下,我认为,要进一步提高初中语文教学水平,还要从以下两个方面下功夫。

In contrast, I think it is necessary to work hard in the following two aspects in order to further improve the teaching of junior high school Chinese.
