The U.S. Bureau of Mines (USBM) is the United States headquarter in the mining industry that is engaged in a wide range of activities aimed at the development of the mineral industry. The Bureau’s activities have many merits that are worth being adopted and absorbed by similar institutions in developing and developed countries to meet their own needs.
