2003年,出入上海的地面道口安装了"车牌识别系统".值勤民警发现可疑车辆,手工输入车牌号码到车辆"黑名单"数据库进行查询.2004年4月,在"车牌识别系统"基础上建设了"道口车牌实时比对系统",实现了全自动化的出市境车辆实时信息的比对.现将该系统作一简介.
