今年3月,胡锦涛总书记在看望全国政协委员时,提出了“以热爱祖国为荣、以危害祖国为耻,以服务人民为荣、以背离人民为耻,以辛勤劳动为荣、以好逸恶劳为耻,以团结互助为荣、以损人利己为耻,以诚实守信为荣、以见利忘义为耻,以遵纪守法为荣、以违法乱纪为耻,以艰苦奋斗为荣、以骄奢淫逸为耻”的“八荣八耻”标准。对此,省教育厅党组非常重视,3月23日,青海省教育工委、省教育厅党组召开了全省教育系统座谈会,引起了很大的反响,一致认为,胡锦涛总书记提出的“八荣八耻”标准对我们当前和今后的学校思想道德建设具有极强的价值导向和促进作用。为将弘扬传统美德,树立社会主义荣辱观教育活动引向深入,近日,青海省教育学会、青海教育杂志社联合召开社会主义荣辱观座谈会,全省部分特级教师、师德标兵、“十杰”校长、教师以及从事教育教学研究的专家、教授参加了座谈会。下面,我们选登部分代表讲话,以期对我省中小学开展树立社会主义荣辱观,加强学校思想道德建设工作加以启发与引导。

In the following, we have selected some of our delegates to give speeches so as to inspire and guide the primary and secondary schools in our province in setting up a socialist concept of honor and disgrace and in strengthening the ideological and moral work in schools.
