从韩礼德系统功能语言学的经验功能角度出发,对秦观的《鹊桥仙》及其三个英译本进行逐句对照分析,发现对于同一个过程、同一个场景,不同译者选用了不同的过程类型来翻译,不同的过程、参与者和环境成分体现了他们对原文的不同理解和解读。经验功能理论为诗词英译的评析提供了客观依据。
From the perspective of Halliday’s functional and linguistic experience, this article makes a sentence-by-sentence comparison of Qin Guan’s “Magpie Bridge Fairy” and his three English versions and finds that different translators use different processes for the same process and the same scene Type to translate, different processes, participants and environmental components reflect their different understanding of the original and interpretation. The theory of empirical function provides an objective basis for the analysis of the English translation of poetry.
