初中语文课本第六册第27页说:“分析多重复句的步骤是:第一步,先要从整体上分析,把整个复句划分为两个分句,并弄清楚两个分句之间的关系。”多重复句大多数是能先分为两个分句的,但也有不少是不能分为两个分句的。象下面的多重复句就非先分为三个分句不可: 它们不是生动活泼的东西,而是死硬的东西了;不是前进的东西,而是后退的东西了;不是革命的东西,而是阻碍革命的东西了。(《毛泽东选集》合订本第788页)这是一个并列关系的二重复句。第一层是三个分句并列。
