五、近五年来的交往 1994年底,我从人民政协报社调回全国政协机关工作。说来也是巧事,60年代初我是以政协宗教组的工作秘书开始的,没想到在90年代末我的工作岗位,也是在政协民族和宗教委员会办公室负责人的位置上结束的。我何以离开人民政协报,赵朴老从没有问过,我也没有告诉过他。但对我在政协民宗委办公室分管宗教工作,他是高兴的。在一次交谈时,他亲切地对我说:“你在报社工作十多年,进步快,不仅本职工作做好了,而且还写了许多文章,出版了好几本书,不易啊。现在你回到政协机关,工作上熟门熟路,也会做好的。我担任政协民宗委主任,负领导之责义不容辞,但我年近九旬,健康一天不及一天,怕是力不从心了。”
V. Contacts in the past five years At the end of 1994, I transferred the work of the CPPCC National Committee from the CPPCC newspaper to the CPPCC National Committee.
