Euphemism has become a hot spot in modern linguistics, especially in sociolinguistics, among the human language phenomena that prevail. This article discusses the common euphemisms in Russian and Chinese and compares them to explore the similarities and differences between Russian and Chinese euphemisms in order to promote intercultural communication.
