美国著名诗人惠特曼的诗歌深受爱默生超验主义影响。其诗歌《有一个孩子向前走去》描述了一个孩子在感知客观自然过程中不断探求生命本源的过程。这个作品蕴含了丰富的超验主义思想:人与自然的关系、高扬的直觉意识。诗人结合了自己的生活经历,表露了人与客观自然的关系,人在感知客观自然过程中的直觉意识等超验主义思想。本文结合作者本身的生活背景和经历,采用细读法,阐释超验主义在这首诗歌里的体现,进一步论证惠特曼与爱默生在思想上的联系。
The famous American poet Whitman’s poetry is greatly influenced by Emerson’s transcendentalism. His poem “Have a Child Going Forward” describes a child’s constant search for the origin of life in the process of perceiving objective natural processes. This work contains a wealth of transcendentalism: the relationship between man and nature, elevated awareness of intuition. Poets combine their own life experience, revealing the relationship between man and the objective and natural, man’s intuition in the process of perception of objective and natural transcendentalism. Based on the author’s own life background and experience, this article uses the thin-reading method to illustrate the embodiment of transcendentalism in this poem, and further demonstrates Whitman’s and Emerson’s ideological connections.
