In this paper, the geochemical behaviors of 26 elements in a group of deep sea rock samples were further determined by neutron activation method. Use AGV and GSP for quality control analysis, but also as part of the standard. The paper lists the experimental results and values of element concentrations in typical deep-sea carbonate and clay sediments. The conclusions drawn from this work are as follows: (1) The type of deep-sea sediment can be determined by neutron activation analysis. This sample belongs to the carbonate type.
