党的十三届八中全会专题研究了农业和农村工作,做出了《中共中央关于进一步加强农业和农村工作的决定》。这是继党的十一届四中全会以来,中央第二次召开全会全面研究农业和农村工作。这次中央全会和它所通过的《决定》,全面总结了80年代我国农业和农村工作的成就.提出了90年代的主要任务,明确了一系列方针政策.号召全党和全国各族人民。
The 8th Plenary Session of the 13th CPC Central Committee studied agriculture and rural work and made the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Strengthening Agriculture and Rural Work.” This is the second time since the Fourth Plenary Session of the Eleventh CPC Central Committee convened a plenary meeting to comprehensively study agriculture and rural work. This Central Plenum and the “Decision” passed by it comprehensively summed up the achievements of our country’s agricultural and rural work in the 1980s, put forward the major tasks of the 1990s and defined a series of guidelines and policies, calling on the entire party and the people of all ethnic groups across the country.
