“流派要流”这是讲了几十年的一句老话,没有任何人提出过疑义。但流派为什么要流,向何处流,在流的过程中会遇到哪些困惑和阻力以及怎样正确处理等一连串的问题,需要从理论和实践上作出回答。近几年来,我采取带小组、率团和只身前往等形式,在北京、上海、天津、南京、哈尔滨、青岛等10余个大中城市,组织了106场个人程派专场演出,观众达12万人次,总上座率85.7%,还出现了36个客满的场次,朋友们问我有何感受?我说,这几年来,酸甜苦辣都尝到了。作为一个演员,不能光埋怨京剧不景气、领导不重视、观众不买票、群众不支持,首要的问题是提高演出质量。要提高演出质量,就要在演出过程中不断改革、发展、创新。
