2011年西吉县内移民开工建设了兴隆镇兴隆等6个生态移民安置区和劳务移民县城安置区,计划搬迁安置移民1424户7250人,占“十二五”县内移民规模的32.4%,其中6个生态移民安置区计划搬迁安置移民884户4452人;劳务移民县城安置区(民生家园)一期工程安置移民540户2798人。县外移民计划搬迁安置移民2630户11806人,占“十二五”县外移民总规模的26%。
