《严修往来手札》(以下简称《手札》),一函13册,收录严修及其亲属、好友、学生、社会名流等大量的亲笔书信,可谓古籍文献中的国内孤本。《手札》河北大学图书馆珍藏,未有流传,弥足珍贵。《手札》对研究我国清末民初的教育及社会发展史迹,有其独特而宝贵的史料参考价值。为此,笔者将《手札》收录概况略作介绍,以补证所见有关文献的缺漏。请教正于博雅君子。《手札》无序,无目次,收集整理者无考。《手札》中百余年前的墨迹,堪称墨宝。众多人物的思想、社会态度,一一跃然纸上。依据河北大学图书馆珍藏《手札》的登录号为序,叙录如下:第一册(561293)
