约翰·贝拉米·福斯特是生态学马克思主义的重要思想家和代表人物。福斯特在马尔库塞的制度批判和社会批判、阿格尔的消费异化导致生态危机、奥康纳的“双重危机”等理论的基础上,通过对马克思主义经典著作的文本解读,运用马克思主义生态唯物主义理论和方法,深刻分析了资本主义与生态矛盾的根本原因,提出了自己的生态学马克思主义思想,同时完成了对马克思主义生态学思想的理论重构。
John Bellamy Foster is an important thinker and representative of ecological Marxism. On the basis of Marcuse’s critique of system and society, Forster’s theory of “Crisis of Occurrence” caused by the dissimilation of consumption by Agger and O’Connor’s “double crisis”, Forster uses the textual interpretation of the Marxist classics Marxist theory and method of ecological materialism, profoundly analyzed the fundamental causes of contradictions between capitalism and ecology, proposed its own ecological Marxism, and at the same time completed the theoretical reconstruction of Marxist ecological thoughts.
