AMD宣布推出采用3DNow!技术的AMD-K6-Ⅲ。AMD已开始大量生产400MHz的AMD-K6-Ⅲ处理器,并已为原设备生产商客户提供450MHz的AMD-K6-Ⅲ处理器样品。包括康伯在内的多家个人电脑生产商,均将生产基于AMD-K6-Ⅲ处理器的台式系统。
AMD announces the AMD-K6-III with 3DNow! Technology. AMD has begun mass production of the 400MHz AMD-K6-III processor and has provided 450MHz AMD-K6-III processor samples to its OEM customers. Several PC makers, including Compaq, will produce AMD-K6-III processor-based desktops.
