水泵的轴承端盖处漏油,是一种经常出现的故障。通常,水泵的轴承座端盖密封材料是采用羊毛毡密封。由于羊毛毡有一定的吸水性能,作水泵轴承端差盖油封不太理想;特别是在维修装配时,泵轴很容易使毛毡错位。新换的毛毡,往往是一个月,甚至更短的时间就出现漏油,污染环境,导致水泵损环。 1986年,我对造纸车间部分水泵进行了改进,采用对旋转轴起油封作用的标准件骨架式橡胶油封密封,经几年的使用证明,效果很好,从而成功地解决了多年来水泵用羊毛毡密封漏油的问题。具体改进方法如下:
