康有为作为近代学贯中西的今文经学大师,他不仅善于从传统文化养料中寻找思想资源,更能把西方的自然科学知识和社会科学知识融为一炉,并以此来改造儒学,创立了独特的思想学说——康氏今文经学。康有为的经学思想打上了深深的时代烙印,既有中国古代经学深厚的底蕴,又附丽着非常鲜明的西方文化色彩,这体现了经学在传统社会走向现代社会过程中自觉或不自觉的裂变和异化,其今文经学思想突破了传统儒学的藩篱,颠破了传统思维的禁锢。更难能可贵的是,它构建了援西入儒的桥梁,打开了“通经致用”的通道。
