中央美术学院材料表现工作室成立于1994年,1997年由从法国巴黎美术学院回来的张元老师接替潘世勋先生主持工作室工作,开始了注重材料的特性、本质,内在精神及创造性地运用材料规律处理不同材料结构与造型、色彩等诸艺术元素间关系的研究。作为第三届学员,我于2003年9月进入工作室,开始了前所未有的洗礼。这种洗礼不是自觉的,是在导师张元以及他所设计课题的强大压力和推动下被动进行的,因此很纠结。原来引以为傲的“写实功夫”在这里派不上用场,此时的我陷入了深深的无助与彷徨
