中国科协“四大”于5月23～27日在京隆重举行。中国生化学会张龙翔教授(正式代表)、林其谁教授(正式代表);王应睐教授(特邀代表、大会主席团成员)、邹承鲁教授(特邀代表、大会主席成员);刘秉文理事(四川省推选的正式代表);上海市生化学会陈明教授(上海市推选的正式代表),以及袁士龙(列席代表)等参加了会议。曹天钦教授因病请假。
The “Big Four” of China Association for Science and Technology was held in Beijing from May 23 to May 27. Professor Zhang Longxiang (Official Representative), Professor Lin Qiren (Official Representative), Professor Wang Yingya (Special Representative, Presidium of the Conference), Professor Zou Chenglu (Special Representative, President of the General Assembly); Dr. Liu Bingwen (elected by Sichuan Province Officials); Chen Ming, Professor of Shanghai Society of Biochemistry (an official representative elected by Shanghai Municipality), and Yuan Shilong (attending delegates) attended the meeting. Professor Cao Tianqin leave on sick leave.
