针对在母语和二语习得中语音感知发展的研究,学者们提出了不同的观点。本文综述了保持/失去理论(the Maintenance/Loss)和功能恢复理论(the Functional Reorganization)这两种主要的语音感知发展理论,并就这两种理论的依据进行了对比比较。现有的证据显示功能恢复理论对语音感知发展的解释最有说服力。
In view of the development of phonetic perception in mother tongue and second language acquisition, scholars put forward different views. This paper reviews two main theories of phonetic perception such as the Maintenance / Loss and the Functional Reorganization, and compares and contrasts the basis of the two theories. The available evidence shows that functional recovery theory most convincingly explains the development of speech perception.
