According to the statistics of the Paper Industry Association, the paper and paperboard production in Taiwan in 2016 was 3,937,600 tons, an increase of 2.1% over the same period of last year; the sales volume of paper and paperboard was 3,935,100 tons, representing an increase of 2.5% over the same period of last year, of which the domestic sales volume was 2,681,800 tons, representing a year-on- 2.6%, and the export volume was 1.2533 million tons, up 15.2% over the same period of last year.
