At the Tastaguer Mine, ore bodies more than 400 meters deep are mined by staging and stage mines. As mining transitioned to depths below 600 meters or 600 meters, a high-productivity, stage-forced caving approach was started with cavern-like, parallel-packed, deep holes in different charge structures to cut the trenches and crush the media. Cut ditches are only opened when the first split block is mined on a new level. As mining depth increases, the pressure of mine increases, and the maximum principal stress in the original rock is 1.5 times larger than the vertical stress. Affected by the mining area, the maximum principal stress vertical ore body, its value exceeds the original rock stress 1 ~ 2 times.
