怀化地区档案馆,馆藏17208卷,资料8300册。馆藏档案资料的种类有:①现行文书档案。主要是1949年至1983年地委、行署、地革委以及现在行署机关的档案,1949年至1979年地直各局、人民团体的档案。②旧政权档案。主要是国民党湖南省第九、第十专员督察公署的文件材料,国民党中央、省级党政军机关的文件、公报、法令汇编、人员花名册等。③声象档案。主要是照片和录音磁带。这部分档案,形象地记载和反映了该地区建国以来的重大事件、政治运动、重要会议和工农业发展重大成就及民情风俗,特别是胡耀邦、赵紫阳、廖汉生和其他中央领导同志视察该地的珍贵照片,反映了党和国家领导人对该地区的重视和关怀。④科技档
Huaihua District Archives, collection 17,208 volumes, 8300 volumes of information. The types of collection archives are: ① the current document file.
