政治权利是实现经济权利与社会文化权利的有力保障,选举权作为基本政治权利之一,是实现民主的基本形式和促进社会全面快速发展的有效途径。随着我国社会经济的持续发展,大量农民工进城而导致的选举权困境不断面临新的挑战。改革完善户籍制度、建立健全现行法律体系是保障进城务工人员选举权实现的重要途径。
Political rights are the powerful guarantee for economic rights and social and cultural rights. The right to vote is one of the basic political rights. It is an effective way to realize the basic form of democracy and promote the all-round rapid development of society. With the continuous development of our country’s social economy, the predicament of the right to vote caused by the large number of migrant workers going into cities is constantly facing new challenges. Reforming and perfecting the household registration system and establishing and perfecting the existing legal system are important ways to guarantee the realization of the right of suffocation for migrant workers in cities.
