每年都有成千上万的外国学生涌入美国的大学就读,以国别而论,近年来从中国内地赴美学生人数稳占鳌头。据国际教育学会(Institute of International Education)的最新统计,2011到2012学年来美就读大学课程的外国学生超过76万人,其中中国内地学生最多,约有19.4万人,占全部外国留学生人数的四分之一多。上大学不但要选择好的学校,更重要的是要选择好的专业。专业好不好可以有各种衡量标准,每个人的看法也不一样。有些人上大学是为了增进自己的知识,至于毕业后是否能够找到工作对他们来说并不是最重要的;但大多数人上大学的目的,就是为了将来能够找到一份称心如意
Every year tens of thousands of foreign students are enrolled in universities in the United States. On a nation-by-country basis, the number of students from the Mainland to the United States has come to the fore in recent years. According to the latest Institute of International Education statistics, more than 760,000 foreign students enrolled in college courses in the United States in the 2011-2012 academic year, with the largest number of students in Mainland China, accounting for 194,000, or four of the total number of foreign students More than one. Not only to go to college to choose a good school, more importantly, to choose a good profession. Good professional can have a variety of measures, everyone’s views are not the same. Some people go to university to promote their own knowledge. Whether or not they can find a job after graduation is not the most important thing for them.
