Objective To investigate the significance of high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), prealbumin (PA) and myocardial enzymes in children with infectious diseases. Methods 548 children with infectious diseases were divided into bacterial infection and viral infection group according to their condition, and 112 healthy children were selected as the control group. The serum levels of hs-CRP, PA and myocardial enzymes were detected and the relationship between the changes and disease was analyzed. Results The hs-CRP was significantly increased (45.2 mg / L) and PA was significantly decreased in patients with bacterial infection [(107.15 ± 28.17) mg / L], and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P <0.01) . The detection of myocardial enzymes in children with viral infection was significantly higher than that in bacterial infection (P <0.01). Conclusions In the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in children, simultaneous detection of hs-CRP, PA and myocardial enzymes is of great significance for the identification of bacterial and viral infections, which is not only beneficial to the early diagnosis of the disease, but also has important clinical value in disease monitoring and prognosis .
